Router Bits & Shaper Cutters

Thoughts on woodworking tools and resources for places to buy reliable equipment.

ok, so the site went live this week and i have been exchanging links like a madman. the good thing is the woodworking community appears to be extremely friendly and receptive to helping out other websites. there have been very few people that i have contacted that didnt respond positively and then tell me how much they like the site.

i ran a very detailed ranking report to see where i stand on the engines as a base line report to give me a basis to judge improvement. to my surprise i found substantial ranking in FAST/AllTheWeb.com, Alta Vista, MSN, and HotBot. the evidence is also in my clicktrax reports, as we have seen several visitors from sweden, japan, and canada... all countries that are more inclined to use the previously mentioned engines.

i have been trying to contact various local milling companies and several cabinet manufacturers as well. again, response has been very favorable. a company in rural winder, georgia told me they have to use whatever the local mom & pop hardware store carries and seemed pretty excited at the prospect of having a resource to buy high quality, industrial router bits and shapers. although they had never heard of whiteside or infinity, i set up an appointment to come to their shop and show them the benefits of the products and how to use the website. scott and i are supposed go there next week sometime, and if all goes well we will be making a few other stops at some companies in alpharetta and woodstock.
